Biography: Dr. Christopher Flores is a Board-Certified Family Physician and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He has been in clinical practice for more than 20 years and he has a special interest in brain aging, geriatric cognitive fitness, and the delay and prevention of dementia and cognitive impairment.Ê He completed a Fellowship in Ethnogeriatrics at Stanford University in 2013 and he has an ongoing research project looking at ethnic differences in behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.Ê He is also the Co-Chair of the Committee for Continuing Professional Development of the Caifornia Academy of Family Physicians.Ê He has spoken extensively on various dementia-related topics, and he is a member of the ÒDementia Friendly Coachella ValleyÓ task force of the Alzheimers Association of the Desert.
