Nimit Sudan, M.D., is an assistant clinical professor of medical oncology at City of Hope / Antelope Valley. Dr. Sudan came to City of Hope from the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute at the Meadville Medical Center in Meadville, PA where he was the director of medical oncology. Concurrently, he held the post of adjunct clinical assistant professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sudan graduated Summa Cum Laude in biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and went on to obtain his medical doctorate from the universitys School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH, followed by a hematology/oncology fellowship at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Dr. Sudan is board-certified in internal medicine, hematology and oncology, and is also certified in acupuncture. He has published several peer reviewed manuscripts and is a recipient of the Cancer Liaison Physician Outstanding Performance Award presented by the Commission on Cancer in 2010. He is a member of several professional organizations, including American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
