Biography: Thanh H. Dellinger, M.D., a specialist in gynecologic oncologic surgery, is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery. Dr. Dellinger graduated with a biochemical/chemical degree from the University of California, San Diego. She later received her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, CA. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Penn State University in Hershey, PA, and a research and clinical fellowship in the Department of Gynecological Oncology at the University of California, Irvine, where she was also a clinical instructor. Dr. Dellinger has received many awards for her work. She received a Howard Hughes Research Scholarship in 1999; an Excellence in Clinical Research Award from UC Irvine in 2012; the Ann E. Seward Memorial Scholarship Award in Womens Health in 2007; and the Sue Alexander Tressler Memorial Research Fund Award in 2006, among others. She has published several articles in the peer-reviewed literature, and has been asked to present her work at numerous meetings and conferences. Dr. Dellinger is fluent in German, Chinese, French and medical Spanish. She is an outstanding clinician and translational researcher, and we are most fortunate to her on the City of Hope team!
